Upgrade to a vehicle with a FordPass Connect modem and you can unlock the following advanced connectivity features* that improve the ownership experience in every way

Remote Start/Stop

On automatic vehicles, use the app to start the engine from home, the office, or anywhere else. This helps make sure the car is de-iced, warm and ready to go when you are.

Remote Lock/Unlock

Lock and unlock your vehicle with the app. This means there's no need to panic if you forget to lock the doors, and you can give a friend access to the vehicle, if they cannot meet you in person.

Live Traffic

Live traffic# enhances your SYNC3 Navigation system by delivering traffic updates covering all major and minor roads, dynamically rerouting to avoid traffic. The modem streams Live Traffic direct to the SYNC screen.

Wi-Fi

An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot# offers speeds of up to 4G LTE for a maximum of 10 devices. Load your favourite streaming service and make long journeys feel a lot shorter for any passengers or children in the car.

Vehicle Health Alerts

View important information about your vehicle within the app. This includes fuel and oil levels, tyre pressure, warranty status and more.

  • It is best to download the FordPass App prior to collecting your new vehicle.
  • Modem activation can be completed at handover.
  • VIN must be added before modem can be activated.

Parking

This feature shows nearby parking spots and their prices, helping save time and money. You can also pin your spot so that it’s easy to find the vehicle in unfamiliar locations.

Fuel

View the petrol stations on route, helping to make the best decision when it comes to filling up.

Destinations

Send destinations from your phone to the SYNC 3 Navigation System. So now you don't have to programme the Sat Nav from inside the car. You can also share destinations with friends to make meeting up as easy as possible.

Ford Credit
